The Autumn Wind Is Near

The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea
With a rollicking song he sweeps along
swaggering boisterously
His face is weather beaten
He wears a hooded sash
With his silver hat about his head
And a bristly black moustache
He growls as he storms the country
A villain big and bold
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake
As he robs them of their gold
The Autumn wind is a Raider
Pillaging just for fun
He'll knock you 'round and upside down
And laugh when he's conquered and won.

Yes my Raider Nation brothers and sisters the the autumn wind is approaching and I like what is going on thus far this season from the signing to Nnamdi Asomugha and Shane Lechler to the start of training camp. It has been for the most part quiet in Alameda and that is something I haven't seen in a long long long time. The only real issues is that of Burgess being a no show and Garcia wanting the starting job. Burgess will be gone as soon as a team will pay Al what he wants and as for Garcia well we all know he will do a good job but it is time for JR to earn his keep and give us what we need, a solid leader on and off the field and yes he is on his way, if you don't believe me ask the wide outs who he flew out to his home in Alabama to work on the passing game. DHB is going to do just fine and as for Mike Mitchell well I feel sorry for who he hits this season. Raider Nation the last piece to this puzzle is our back field and what a group we have. So I see the Autumn Wind approaching, the start of the new Oakland Raiders, I believe they will bring the pride of the Raiders with them. So to ESPN and the NFL Network and all the people who want to just hate us please continue don't stop because in the end we will laugh when we have conquered and won.
