UM WTF #15: Big East in the Big House, Uconn For Michigan's 2010 Opener

Daniel DeitrickCorrespondent IAugust 2, 2009

Uconn?

When Rich Rodriguez announced to the world at the Big Ten Media day that the University of Michigan was going to be playing a BCS team in the 2010 home-opener, that wasn’t supposed to be the punch line – not for the Big House’s quarter of a billion dollar coming out party.

I’ll agree and say he probably said the best possible, and most exciting thing he could about the match-up, but c’mon man, if you’re going to generate buzz, make sure the news is worthy.

Now, if Michigan could have signed the Big East's West Virginia, then we’d have something to talk about...
