You Might Be a Boise State Fan If...

Cameon Shiflett recently wrote an article titled "You might be an Alabama fan if..."

It was a classic and has spawned some, but not enough, knock-offs.

So in that same spirit, I wanted to make sure the great fans in Boise are not underrepresented.

You might be as Boise State Bronco fan if...

• Your lawn is blue.
• You have a hard time watching your team play on boring green grass.
• You know anyone in the nation would rather have a blue turf than that awful excuse for a stadium in Moscow.
• You were stoked when Senator Larry Craig (University of Idaho grad) got caught in a Minnesota airport because of the door it opened up to more Vandal jokes.
• You don't need any door to open to make Vandal jokes.
• You are only reading this article hoping that it is about the Fiesta Bowl.
• You have ever eaten an ice-cream potato at a football game.
• You know what an ice-cream potato is.
• You hear someone say "Boise" and instinctively yell "State!" (only applicable if your seat is on the west side).
• You put on an Ian Johnson jersey to propose to your girlfriend.
• You made your girlfriend wear a Boise State cheerleader uniform while you proposed to her in your Ian Johnson Jersey.
• You know the Fiesta Bowl play-by-play by heart.
• Your children are named Bart, Ryan, Jared, and Kellen.
• These same children are all girls.
• At least three times a day, you hear, "Yeah, but your schedule sucks!" from someone who thinks that it is breaking news.
• Every time you reply, "Didn't you hear, we won the Fiesta Bowl!"
• You know Lyle Smith is one of the greatest coaches of all time.
• In November you wear your hunting clothes to the game because it's the only way to stay warm and still wear orange.
• In October you wear your hunting clothes to the game because you are going hunting right after the game.
• You are upset that this list isn't about the best plays of the Fiesta Bowl.
• You've ever eaten duck after it crashed into the blue turf.
• You have watched the statue of liberty play twice while reading this article.
• You love your Broncos more than anything.
