A quick synopsis of teams that I think will win their Divisions and the Wild Card. Here's a list of all the teams and their divsions. NL West:D-Backs, Dodgers, Giants, Rockies, Padres. From the NL Central: Cardinals, Cubs, Astros, Brewers, Reds, Pirates. From the NL East: Mets, Marlins, Nationals, Braves, Phillies. From the AL West: Angels, Athletics, Mariners, Rangers. AL Central: White Sox, Tigers, Twins, Indians, Royals. From the AL East: Red Sox, Yankess, Rays, Blue Jays, and Orioles. There you have it, all the teams in the MLB. I'm going to shrink this list of 30 down to 8.
ManRam and the Dodgers look like they will win this division with ease, but if they stop hitting it will be interesting to see how far they make it in the playoffs.
Pujols and now Holliday will be sure to slug their way into the playoffs. And if the Cardinals pitching holds up, who knows how far they will go.
The heavy hitting Phils are looking to repeat what they did last year. With their speed and power it doesn't seem like anything can slow them down.
Lincecum and Cain are sure to lead the Giants to win the NL Wild Card, not only do they have powerful pitchers, but Pablo Sandoval, Ryan Garko, and Freddy Sanchez are sure to swing their bats into the playoffs.
Vlad and the speedy Angels are running their way to lead the AL West, as long as their pitching holds up they will be a hard force to slow down.
Verlander, Jackson, and now Washburn are hoping to pitch their way into the playoffs. With the bats of Cabrera, Granderson, Ordonez, and Inge they are looking to make a major push to the playoffs.
Pedroia, Bay, Youkilis, and Ortiz are looking to slam their way into the playoffs. In a tough division it's going to be hard to only win with bats, but if their pitching picks it up they're golden.
Jeter, Cano, A-Rod, and Texiera are looking to hack their way into the playoffs. Unfortunately for them they are in the toughest division in the MLB. Luckily they have the highest paying salary in the entire MLB. If they can keep up their hitting they will easily win the Wild Card.
