Coach Carr has been keeping a pretty exciting schedule these past few weeks.

Yesterday, he had lunch with GM CEO Fritz Henderson, a Michigan grad. He also made an appearance at the Motor City Bowl Golf Outing.

Oh yeah, and he's been helping his friend Russell Crowe (the actor) find some temporary housing in Pittsburgh.

He did find some time to say a few words about the Michigan program.

"That's coach (Rich) Rodriguez's duty," Carr said. "I decided from the beginning that the one thing he didn't need was a former coach sticking his nose in the program. What I am right now is just a great fan and cheerleader of Michigan.  We're gonna have an exciting season."
