The Pac-10 offers some exciting players on the offensive side of the ball. This slideshow will look at the top five offensive weapons the Pac-10 has to offer.

It will feature a few running backs, a quarterback, and possibly a wide receiver, although it seems like more Pac-10 teams are going with great running attacks as opposed to great aerial threats.

5. C.J Gable, USC Trojans

PASADENA, CA - JANUARY 01: C.J. Gable #2 of the USC Trojans runs in for a touchdown in the second quarter against the Penn State Nittany Lions during the 95th Rose Bowl Game presented by Citi on January 1, 2009 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

C.J. Gable running back of the USC Trojans is entering his senior year as one of the most explosive weapons the Trojans have.

For the 2008 season while splitting carries with Joe McKnight and Stafon Johnson, but he should see more carries this year.

For his junior year Gable carried the ball 107 times for 617 yards, that's good for a 5.8 yards per carry, he had a long of 50 yards, and he scored eight touchdowns.

He wasn't much of a threat receiving he caught just six passes for 62 yards and one touchdown.

4. Jeremiah Masoli, University of Oregon Ducks

Jeremiah Masoli is a quarterback who's much more dangerous using his legs then he is throwing the ball. Before he moves up on this list he needs to become a more accurate passer, but when he does that he could definitely move up to be one of the top players not only in the Pac-10, but in the country.

Masoli did have some great passing games towards the end of the season, but he also had some terrible games throwing the ball. So, once he has the consistency down he's going to be an amazing talent for the Ducks.

For his 2008 season his stats look like this:
136-239, 1744 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also carried the ball 127 times for 718 yards and 10 touchdowns rushing.

3. Jake Locker, University of Washington Huskies

Jake Locker is the most dynamic quarterback in the Pac-10 and if he can come back after suffering a season ending injury in the fourth game of the season, he should help the Wasington Huskies have a much better record than they had last year when the team didn't win a game under the direction of Tyrone Willingham.

Locker last year almost lead the Huskies to a major upset of BYU, but thanks to a terrible unsportsmanlike conduct penalty the extra point for the Huskies was pushed way back and the BYU Cougars blocked the extra point attempt, which would have sent the game into overtime.

When Locker is healthy he can throw the football, but his most important feature though is his legs. If he's forced out of the pocket he's like another running back and he's not afraid to take on contact either.

His stats for the four games he played in 2008 look like this:

50-93 for 512 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also rushed 56 times for 180 yards and three touchdowns.

2. Jacquizz Rodgers, Oregon State Beavers

Jacquizz Rodgers of the Oregon State Beavers burst onto the seen after his amazing performance as a freshman against the daunted USC Trojans defense, which was the best in the country last year.

Rodgers carried the ball 37 times for 186 and two touchdowns. He won Pac-10 offensive player of the year although I disagree with the decision he definitely had a fantastic freshman season.

The only knock on Rodgers is his size and he did miss the final two games of last season due to a shoulder injury after taking a big hit against the Arizona Wildcats.

For his freshman season he carried the ball 259 times for 1253 yards, average 4.8 yards per carry, a long of 33, and scored 11 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 29 passes for 247 yards with a long of 41 and one touchdown.

1. Jahvid Best, University of California Golden Bears

Jahvid Best is arguably one of the best players in the country regardless of position. There's no other player that has the strength and the breakaway speed of Best.

In fact last year Best had three games of over 200 yards, including one where had 311 yards, and another game where he only carried the ball 14 times for 200 yards.

He is arguably the most exciting player to watch in college football because he could score anytime he touches the ball.

Last year he carried the ball 194 times for 1580 yards, at 8.1 yards per carry, had a long of 86 yards, and scored 15 touchdowns rushing. He also caught 27 passes for 246 yards, had a long of 42, and one touchdown.

And If I had the choice for Pac-10 offensive player of the year it would have gone to Best.
