The buzz is picking up that Dominic Moore is finally ready to suck it up and come back to the Leafs on GM Brian Burke's terms.  Moore enjoyed a strong first half of last season with the Leafs, getting ice time he would never receive with another team, but refused to sign on for an extent ion, and Burke made a wise trade for a draft pick rather than lose Moore for nothing.  Moore went on to impress nobody in Buffalo, and has not attracted anyinterest at his asking price as a free agent.

Moore is now anxious to return to his hometown, and Burke, who made sure to leave the door open to Moore's return, would be happy to add a little more top 9 taken to the Leaf's offense.Burke's only hesitation has been to see if he can land Blair Betts at his desired price before he commits to Moore.

Look for one of the two to sign in the next three weeks.
