The Oakland Raiders have confirmed the signing of Darrius Heyward-Bey to a five-year deal worth $38.25 million.  $23.5 million guaranteed.

Heyward-Bey is reportedly on his way to the training facility in Napa.

Heyward-Bey's deal nets himself a lesser salary to last year's seventh overall pick Sedrick Ellis who signed a five-year deal worth $49 million.  There were no receivers taken in the first round last year.

Ted Ginn Jr. was the ninth overall selection in the 2007 NFL draft and his contract is worth a mere $19.6 million over five years with $14 million guaranteed.

Michael Crabtree, has reportedly not signed and is seeking money comparable with a third overall selection which would net him more money then Heyward-Bey.

The Raiders now have all of their draft picks with the exception of Stryker Sulak, signed and ready to go.

Heyward-Bey just became a very rich man, lets hope that it was money well spent.
