Oregon Football: Nick Reed, Patrick Chung Named to Nagurski Watch List

The Football Writers Association of America named Oregon seniors Nick Reed and Patrick Chung to the watch list for the 2008 Bronko Nagurski Trophy. It is awarded to the best defensive player in college football and sponsored by the Charlotte Touchdown Club.

Reed, who is also on the watch list for the 2008 Lott Trophy, led the Pac-10 with 12 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss last season and was named second-team All-America (SI.com).

Chung, a three-year starting rover, was the Ducks' leading tackler in 2007 and earned second-team All-America honors along with first team All-Pac-10. His 117 tackles were the most by a UO defensive back.
