Despite overcast skies and threatening rain, a rather impressive crowd showed up at Lehigh University Wednesday morning for the final day of Rookie Camp

Many of the onlookers may have come to pay a tribute to the late Jim Johnson, the former Defensive Coordinator who passed away on Tuesday. There were a few "JJ" memorials set up for Johnson around the practice fields. One such memorial, which greeted visitors as they entered the facility, was surrounded with signs and gifts left by fans.
Practice was short and lacked the highlight reel type plays we saw Tuesday morning. Andy Reid continued his tradition of giving the "over 30" crowd every third day off, so Donovan McNabb and Kevin Curtis were excused from practice.
Some notes from Wednesday morning's practice:
The day began with punt drills. Danny Amendola took all the reps at punt returner and fielded everything cleanly. Trae Williams was working as the gunner and being coached up by one of the assistants. At one point, the assistant got on Williams and told him he can't allow an "old man" to cut him off like that.
LeSean McCoy—It's tough to really tell very much until there is live hitting, but he does continue to catch everything thrown to him and he did display a nifty spin move during seven on seven drills.
Macho Harris—Had a couple of nice plays. He intercepted a pass that was deflected by Byron Parker and also made diving deflection of a pass on crossing route intended for Danny Amendola.
In a lighter moment, one of the assistant coaches who was "covering" Cornelius Ingram during a drill, was unintentionally plunked in the back of the head by a pass from AJ Feeley.
Former Eagles DE & 610 WIP Sports Radio personality Hugh Douglas was seen briefly on the sidelines. He was tossing around a white towel and chatting with Dave Spadaro of PhiladelphiaEagles.com.
I didn't see rookie sixth round pick Brandon Gibson out on the field today.
The Eagles veterans are due to arrive in Lehigh this evening. Thursday practices are closed to the public. Friday will be the first full practice in pads.
