Rain, rain go away. We'd like to get the Buick Open done in less than five days!

Congrats to Nathan Green for his playoff victory over Retief Goosen, who lets another one slip through his hands at last weeks Canadian Open.

Again my Yahoo fantasy pace continues to be torrid, yet my six packs are cooling off a little bit. With that being said, a lot of my picks have been close, but simply disappeared come Sunday.

This weeks edition is going to be short and sweet. I promise to have a better article next week.

In Yahoo! fantasy, here's my lineup:

GROUP A will see Jim Furyk(5) starting while Kevin Na(9) backs him up.

GROUP B will have Brian Gay(5) and Nick Watney (4) starting. Rory Sabbatini (9) and Brandt Snedeker(10) will be the reserves.

GROUP C has the warm and ready Scott Verplank(7) starting and the upward trending YE Yang(10) in the backup role.

Here's the six pack:

No. 1: Scott Verplank

Verplank has been playing stellar golf recently, and is heading towards victory. He always plays well at the Buick Open, and is definitely going to contend this week.

Scotty has a very low scoring average, and hits a TON of greens in regulation.

He is a solid pick at 28:1 odds

No. 2: Brandt Snedeker

TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND - JULY 14: Brandt Snedeker of USA hits a shot during a practice round prior to the 138th Open Championship on the Ailsa Course, Turnberry Golf Club on July 14, 2009 in Turnberry, Scotland. (Photo by Stuart Franklin/Getty Images)

Sneds is definitely back to his true form. He is on fire recently going t47,5,2,c,5 in his last five events. He has placed t10 here before, and I think he will be there come Sunday this week.

Take a good look at him this week, he is 33:1 odds to win.

No. 3: Woody Austin

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - OCTOBER 23: Woody Austin lines up a par putt on the 16th hole during the first round of the Frys.com Open held at Grayhawk Golf Club on October 23, 2008 in Scottsdale, Arizona. (Photo by Marc Feldman/Getty Images)

Woody always makes an above average effort at this event, and I expect 2009 will be no different.

I know that he is coming off two consecutive cuts, but Woody is a better player than that, and he will bounce back this week.

Woody doesn't do any one particular thing great, but he does everything pretty well, making him one of the best all-around players in the PGA Tour.

I think Austin may sneak in this week, so give him a ride at 33:1 odds.

No. 4: Nick Watney

TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND - JULY 19: Nick Watney of USA acknowledges the crowd on the 18th green during the final round of the 138th Open Championship on the Ailsa Course, Turnberry Golf Club on July 19, 2009 in Turnberry, Scotland. (Photo by Harry How/Getty

Watney is clearly having a career year, and has found is way to 34th on the Overall World Golf Ranking. That's a great feet for this young man to accomplish.

Nick destroys the ball off the tee and is the best par five player on tour. I think the Buick sets up well for him, and he will be there without a doubt this weekend.

Lay it down on Nick at 33:1

No. 5: Michael Letzig

PALM COAST, FL - NOVEMBER 02: Michael Letzig looks over a birdie putt on the 5th hole during the final round of the Ginn sur Mer Classic at the Conservatory Golf Club on November 2, 2008 in Palm Coast, Florida. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

This guy is on a tear right now.

Very nice, very consistent scoring. He has only played in this event once, and he came in 12th place.

No one on tour has more birdies than this guy in 2009.

As long as the birdies fall, he will contend.

Give Letzig a shot at 40:1.

No. 6: Y.E.Yang

DORAL, FL - MARCH 11: Y.E. Yang of Korea hits a shot during the final day of practice for the World Golf Championships-CA Championship at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa on March 11, 2009 in Miami, Florida. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

My long shot this week is trending up beautifully right now. Although he has never participated in the Buick Open, I think he can make a solid run.

Heck if he wins it, 100:1 ain't a bad pay day.

I apologize for the shortness this week. I did do the research, and these are my guys, and they should perform well this week.

Peace out.
