As we all know, this will be a difficult series for the Yankees in Tampa Bay. With no A-Rod and no Posada, winning the series is not going to be easy.

The last time the Yankees played in TB, they swept the Rays in a two game series.  However, now Carl Crawford and Cliff Floyd are back and hitting well.

The Rays just swept the Angels over the weekend. They are playing like one of the best teams in baseball.  Now they are playing a series against a Yankee team that has not met the high expectations of their fans.

I hope the Yankees pitching improves, starting today with Andy Pettitte on the mound.  The good news is that with the rain our yesterday  there will be no need to use Kei Igawa in this series.  They'll be able to save him for their series with the Mets this weekend.
