According to NFL.com Brett Favre has decided to remain retired from the NFL.  This should not come as a great surprise considering Ryan Longwell the former Packer and Favre teammate said that in texts Favre sounded as if he was "50/50" on returning.  

However it will be interesting to hear the response from Vikings players who apparently  text messaged Favre asking him to come play.
