An inside source at orlandomagiczone.com has clarified that Lamar Odom will sign a contract with the Miami Heat  on Wednesday.

If this signing does indeed go through, the Heat will add a premier, versatile 6-foot-10 forward with endless abilities to their roster.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, GM Pat Riley is expected to make a "harder push" for Utah Jazz's all-star forward Carlos Boozer if the Heat sign Odom.

Could the Heat really pull off a deal to add Boozer to their roster as well?

It is obvious that Miami is trying to prevent Dwyane Wade from departing the Heat when he becomes a free agent next season.

If they could bring both Odom and Boozer in, the Heat organization can confidently say that their mission to extend Wade's contract will be a guaranteed success.

It has been reported that D-Wade and Pat Riley are both in Los Angeles attempting to sway Odom to Miami. Wade even tweeted Odom on twitter saying, "the beginning..look who's jersey is waitn for them in mia(no 7)."
