45-20, that's what the New York Mets have to do to play in October.  It seems like it won't happen, but if you have been watching the Mets recently, that hope for a miracle gets a little bit bigger.

In the Mets' last four games, they are 3-1 and have scored 29 runs.  It just seems like things have been clicking for the Mets.  They are getting some breaks and simply playing good baseball.

As of now, the Mets are six and a half games behind the Colorado Rockies in the National League Wild Card, and are 10.5 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East.

Both of those leads are not insurmountable, and if the Mets play good baseball until their big guys get back, I believe they will be in good shape.

There is not a lot to write about this subject, because a couple of words sum it up.  The New York Mets are playing good baseball, showing some life, and giving their fans a reason to hope.

I don't care what some fans say (Richard Marsh), I know that they have some hope for the Amazins' to pull off a miracle and that hope is increasing due to the team's play.

Now, all the Mets need is to win series and hope that the teams in front of them lose to teams out of contention (One of the eight teams out of contention, haha).

Mets fans, don't feel ashamed to let your mind wander.  A miracle can happen, I'm not saying it will, but it can happen.  "It's not over 'til it's over".
