After two off-season surgeries, Philadelphia's favorite warrior has been sighted at Lehigh University. That's right, it's Brian Westbrook, hereinafter affectionately referred to as B-Dub.

What's he doing? Running!

I am writing this to strike fear into the hearts of the doom-and-gloom contingency banking on B-Dub's injuries to hinder not only his season but that of the Eagles

Those who have watched B-Dub play every week throughout his career know without question that the man is a warrior of unquestionable stamina and toughness, and he will prove it yet again in 2009.

His knee was working well in the 2009 OTAs after his first surgery, and the fact that he is out and about, jogging and whatnot on the sidelines at Lehigh seals the deal.

We have a pain-free B-Dub ready to take it to the NFL again. No bone spurs, no knee swelling; just a warrior ready to play bigger than his size, as he has always done.

This hype machine says B-Dub is the most elusive and complete running back in the NFL. A fantastic runner between the tackles, a breakaway threat, a receiver out of the backfield, a goal-line back, an open-field runner, a pass blocker, and anything else you can imagine to say.

He's proven he can handle a heavy workload, and in a new offense that features a real lead blocker, a complementary running back group, a monster offensive line, and inside/outside passing threats with an elite quarterback, Westbrook will have a career year.

Expect a huge season from B-Dub, not a downgraded performance. B-Dub is going to lead this team's backfield with a pure performance and earn a spot in the Pro Bowl after laying claim to the all-time rushing title in Philadelphia Eagles history.

Let it be said. Let it be done.
