NCAA, Tyler Hansbrough, Editorial, Editorial

I came across this story today.I have a personal connection to Tyler Hansbrough, in that my personal friend, Tim Wilson threw him off his game in the 2007 NCAA tournament through a relationship with a common denominator.

After something like that, I can't help but feel the common humanity between Hansbrough and other college students.

Because of that incident, when I see this incident, I feel as though in some ways I understand this human being. I jumped off a roof in a much more dangerous situation than this when I was in college. I watched the snow come down in thick blankets until I realized that my leg was not broken.

Obviously, I was not a college athlete, much less a superstar at a big time program, but, at least he's not out at a strip club and getting into bar fights, fathering hoards of illegitimate children, etc...I saw something like this at Purdue University when I was there for a speech tournament and really wanted to try it.

This looks like good, harmless, fun to me.
