Mark Andrew says Felipe Massa declared he wants a passport of his own from Turkey after taking three wins from three at the Herman Tilkke circuit in Turkey. Massa is clearly fond of anti-clockwise tracks as he does well in Brazil too .

Felipe Massa, Breaking News, Breaking News

Felipe Massa was in fine Turkish form again today at the 2008 Turkish Grand Prix.

Massa, who took pole position here for the third season in a row and ultimately made it his third Turkish win in a row, was threatened by a blisteringly quick Lewis Hamilton on hard tires.

It was the press conference that caught the eye as Felipe declared he wants a Turkish passport and then closed his eyes as if to say "why did I say that.”

In the race itself, not even his world champion teammate Kimi Raikkonen had an answer to the chirpy little Brazilian.

Raikkonen was in a first corner tangle with Mclaren’s Heikki Kovaleinnen, which put the fellow fin into the pits to replace a punctured tire caused by Raikkonen’s front wing.

It was old head Giancarlo Fisichella who had the biggest headache of all.

Though he went too deep into turn one and sent his force India crashing over the Williams of Kazuki Nakajima to put both drivers out, it was Fisichella’s third retirement at that corner in three races.

Hamilton’s first and middle stint were performances that his hero Ayrton Senna would be proud of, eating away at Massa lap by lap until inevitably the herts born star overtook Massa on the way up to turn nine.

But as Lewis thought when he put the soft tires on for his third and final stint, the car became much trickier to handle.

He then found Kimi Raikkonen breathing down his neck for the last 12 laps, but he yet again showed us why he is the man as he kept his cool to drive the Mclaren home second for eight valuable points.

Massa's engineer Rob Smedley declared 28 points from three races  is champion material clearly delighted at his man.

Felipe could not hide his joy as he jumped onto his Ferrari, waving three fingers to the crowd and camera man.

Sebastian Bourdais also had another torrid time, beaching his Toro Rosso with suspected brake failure.  Yet, he has shown what quality he has by the performances he's put in up until his car breaks.

Otherwise, this grand prix was quite uneventful compared to Spain, a fortnight ago, apart from the sad demise of super aguri that is.
