According to many sources, the Yankees and Reds are in serious talks for a trade including Bronson Arroyo. Although a deal doesn't seem close, some sources are saying "A will deal get done". Stay tuned for more on this one.

It has been fairly quiet on the Roy Halladay front today. The Jays may have to lower their asking price if they still want to move him.

Many teams are still looking at Cliff Lee and Jarrod Washburn as cheaper alternatives to Halladay. A deal seems far from being completed on all three of these starters.

The number one priority of the Boston Red Sox now seems to be acquiring Adrian Gonzalez. The Padres seem to be asking a lot.

The Rays are said to be talking about a blockbuster deal with the Indians about acquiring Victor Martinez and Cliff Lee. They are also still talking about possibly sending Scott Kazmir to the Angels.

The Giants seem to be considering many bats to add to their team. Some popular names being thrown around include: Freddy Sanchez, Victor Martinez, Nick Johnson, Ryan Garko, Aubrey Huff, and Marco Scutaro. Their GM has said there is about a 50-50 chance that he is able to make a deal. SEE BELOW

There is some buzz around their league that the Tigers may shift their focus from adding a bat to adding some pitching at the deadline. Especially after Porcello's rough start last night.

UPDATE: The San Francisco Giants have traded the Indians for Ryan Garko. The Indians will receive LHP Scott Barnes.
