With all this talk about Favre coming back, not coming back, He not good for the team, he not making a decision. It seems to me that the only reason that there is any indulgence into the Retired Legend is that Minnesota has failed to obtain any other good talent.

Granted some great quarterbacks did not start out with a bang (Elway, Manning, Aikman,) etc but it certainly did not take them years to perform. For that matter look at Brady, Roethlisberger, Marino who took off "OUT OF THE GATES". Does any one think that Tavaris Jackson is somehow going to turn out great, no! That’s why they went out to get Sage Rosenfels.

It’s too little too late in all cases and really simply looking for the best band aid at this point. They could have obtained a number of quality experienced QB's during the last couple of years but put too much into "believing" in Jackson or what ever the newest or oldest comes along.

Who else is available now, that may prove of value besides Favre? If nothing, then they need to realize unless they get a lucky pick of one of those few "OUT OF THE GATES" types then they are going to have to resort to what they have and had for years "Nothing Much"

Who knows maybe Sage will rise to the occasion.

PS: who need to see anothe pic of Favre anyway
