It always makes me happy to hear of a celebrity, especially one who is not from Alabama, that is a Crimson Tide fan. But to hear of one that is a Tide fan that is not even from this country...

Thats right. David Feherty, CBS golf announcer and former PGA tour pro, is a member of the Bama Nation.

For the readers who don't watch much golf, Feherty was born in August 13, 1958 in Bangor, North Ireland. He is best known for his DEEP Irish accent while calling shots for CBS from the fairways and greens. Ol' "Fairway Feherty" also lends his voice to all Tiger Woods video games.

Yesterday during a rain delay at The Canadian Open, Feherty was interviewing tour pro and former Auburn graduate, Jason Dufener. During the interview, Feherety asked Dufener if he was looking forward to November 28th. Dufener said that he was because that was The Iron Bowl. Dufener said that while he wasn't born in Alabama, he graduated from Auburn and was a huge Tiger fan. Feherety stated, (in his DEEP Irish accent) that he wasn't from Alabama either, but was a huge Crimson Tide fan!!!! He ended the interview with a Roll Tide!!!!!! Who knew??
