The Mets have reportedly fired Vice President of Player Development Tony Bernazard after a series of outbreaks that included altercations with Francisco Rodriguez and some minor leaguers.

The 52-year-old allegedly pulled off his shirt and challenged the Double-A Binghamton Mets to a fight.

For those of you who have been waiting for the Mets to make a move, this is it. Playoffs or not, there's no way to go but down with a guy like this on your team.

Of course this decision may have come a year too late.
