Bobby Cox in my opinion the greatest manager of his era. He has been successful everywhere he has been. I have never heard of a player say "I didn't enjoy playing for Bobby Cox" or "I would never want to play for Bobby Cox". Bobby stands up for players more than any other manager, and I really believe he cares about them.

I don't think Cox has gone soft. He isn't soft, just less fiery, but he's an old man! Its OK.

He is the perfect manager for this particular team. He can motivate them like no other. He is still one of the best.
