EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - JULY 26: Giovani Dos Santos #17 and Carlos Vela #11 of Mexico celebrate Dos Santos' goal in front of Jay Heaps #16 of the United States in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Championship match at Giants Stadium on July 26, 2009 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. MEXICO vs USA- On Sunday at the Gold Cup the green-clad Mexico fans rocked Giants Stadium into a frenzy!  Dos Santos and Carlos Vela scored 5 minutes apart and you would think at that point Giants stadium might not survive the crazed crowd that was definitely pro Mexico despite the USA having supposed home field advantage. Troy Perkins had several brilliant saves and it seemed the goalkeeper was the only player from Team USA on the field during the 11-minute blitz in which Mexico’s attackers could basically have walked with the ball up and down the pitch without being touched. Coach Bob Bradley said “When a goal is scored, there’s always a change in the game and we didn’t respond well,” how about not at all Mr. Bradley! Not at all! We continue to hear on ESPN today from team USA that this is not the team that the world will face in the World Cup? Give me a break! Team USA was crushed in a world match on their own turf by Mexico! Nuf said!
