NBA, NBA Central, NBA Southeast, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Rodney Stuckey, Rashard Lewis, Game Recap

Well, there you have it. You all called me stupid for saying Saunders should do it. But what did he do? He started the rookie Rodney Stuckey and rested Chauncey Billups, and the Pistons pulled out a tough win.

No, Rodney wasn't a threat at all, with only six points, and he sat out most of the game with foul trouble. But Lindsey Hunter provided a spark, hitting two major three-pointers in the game, one of which tied the game after a huge 15-0 run comeback late in the third quarter.

Overall, the Pistons played a tough one, and showed they are bigger and better than the Orlando Magic. Rip came up big again, scoring 32 points. Rasheed decided to show up with 16 points, and, of course, Tayshaun still shooting lights out. He scored 17 points, including the game-winning basket over Dwight Howard.

The Pistons did a great job shutting down Howard just like in Game One, keeping him in single digits. Detroit held him scoreless from late in the first quarter until the end of the third.

Just like I said, they kept an eye in Rashard Lewis, and made him fight hard for his 15 points. Turkoglu is the one who gave us the run for the money, scoring big points in the fourth.

The Pistons showed they are a bigger, better more veteran team. They know this year is their best chance to win that championship ring, and how can we forget McDyess tossing Dwight to the floor? What a physical, hard-fought game this was.

Now expect Chauncey to be back and ready to go in Game 5 back in Detroit, where they will put the Magic away and most likely take on Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals.
