Adam LaRoche has arrived in Boston and has started in a Red Sox uniform for the first time since the trade.  People question whether the trade for LaRoche, who was a former Pirate, was a good deal or not.  Theo Epstine was quoted as saying this is some insurance for the team with Mike Lowell's hips acting up and he can play wherever his skills are needed.  July 25th's game against Baltimore with LaRoche starting over Kevin Youkilis, LaRoche impressed the loyal Sox fans as he hit a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 8th.

The Red Sox go on to win the game 7-2 with an outstanding performance from Lester!

When Bay first arrived and played his first game in the Sox uniform, he mad a big name for himself when his first at bat was a homerun.  Adam LaRoche has now made a name for himself going 1-4 with the his only hit being a 2 run shot.  The Red Sox continue their win streak to 2 games and hope to extend it more.
