ESPN Preseason Predictions for Michigan Wolverines

ANN ARBOR, MI - OCTOBER 25: Brandon Minor #4 of the Michigan Wolverines tries to get around the tackle of Brandon Long #47 of the Michigan State Spartans during a third quarter run on October 25, 2008 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Three predictions: (1) Brandon Minor rushes for at least 1,300 yards. (2) At least two players will start games at QB. (3) Michigan makes it back to the postseason.

I agree w/ all except probably No. 1. I think there's too much talent and diversity in the Michigan backfield to give Minor that many carries. Seniors Carlos Brown and K. Grady could get a decent amount of carries depending on Minor's durability and the short yardage situation.

Moreover, Vincent Smith has been impressing this spring, and let's not forget that Michael Shaw played serious minutes early last season prior to his hamstring injury, which is now fully healed. Add in some other folks at the slot position who can also carry the ball, and you're talking about a multi-headed monster at the RB position.
