Mark Schlabach, over at ESPN, has released his very early top 25 poll. He has the Ducks listed at #23 and doesn't think that the departure of Dennis Dixon or Jonathan Stewart will hurt Oregon that much.
He feels that the additions of running back LeGarrette Blount and the multitude of options at quarterback will make it a fairly smooth transition for the 2008-09 campaign.
In his opinion the biggest obstacle for the Ducks this year will be the brutal road schedule. They have away games against Purdue, USC, Arizona State, California and Oregon State. The other Pac-10 teams in his top 25 are; #4 USC and #13 Arizona St.
