Currently, New York Giants defensive end Micheal Strahan is pondering retiring after 15 seasons in the NFL. The newly crowned Super Bowl Champion has been to seven Pro Bowls and has been the leader of the New York Giants defense for years. Who wouldn't want to ride off into the sunset and retire after winning a Super Bowl?
The answer is Micheal Strahan.
Strahan has produced year in and year out without fail. Yes, his numbers are down from his huge 2001 season, but he still recorded nine sacks and 45 solo tackles in last years regular season. Regardless of whether he is on the field or not, his presence in the locker room is most important.

Strahan is part of a strong defensive line unit, whom owe him for their development and success with the New York Giants. Strahan still wants to play, or he would not be pondering right now. If his body is not able to take starting all 16 games, there is plenty of depth to give him rest during the long season.
Strahan knows he can still produce big time plays, and he will be happy to return and put quarterbacks on the ground once more. Expect to see #92 on the field one more season, before the Giants retire the number and Strahan coasts to Canton.
