Affliction Trilogy is cancelled according to Josh Gross in SI and this has been confirmed by Sherdog.

The best solution in my opinion. Fedor deserves better than this mess, and I think he will now reconsider the UFC, that for all the things you can criticize them for, are competent and never contemplate putting fighters in no win situations, which is what Affliction were doing by putting Belfort in front of Fedor.

I'm sorry to say it, but if Fedor wants to fight, he needs to stop messing about in sideshows, and sign up for the main event.

At the end of the day, how many more fights does he want? 3,6,8..., it doesn't matter, there is no one he would want to fight that the UFC could not sign to fight him, if he continues winning, and when he's done, he can just retire unbeaten, as the undisputed greatest fighter in the history of the sport.
