When Charles Rogers entered the NFL, he was drafted by a team that need his talent and his marketability. One game and three touchdowns later it looked like the Lions had made the right pick, six years later Rogers is out of the NFL and football all together. If there was one thing you could say about Rogers is that he never gave up in his return from two broken collarbones and a suspension.

Today  Rogers is a man who is trying to get back to where he was in 2003-on a football team. I spoke with Rogers and he said that he recently filmed a segment for ESPN that will air in early August that chronicles his attempted comeback. Rogers will also be a guest on the Jim Rome show.

"If you weren't a fan before, you will be" said Rogers.
