Opelika High School running back Corey Grant has ended his recruitment and committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide today.

This was a tough pull for Nick Saban, due to Opelika's close distance to Auburn.

The four-star and the top rated back in the state of Alabama had offers from other SEC schools, but the process came down between Alabama, Florida, and Auburn.

With tight end Brian Vogler committing to Alabama yesterday, this gives the Tide back-to-back commitments in consecutive days.

Grant is also a track champion, having won the state 100 meter dash twice during high school. He won the state championship with a time of 10.51 seconds.

Last year, Grant had 88 carries for 724 yards and 14 touchdowns. He added 16 receptions for 235 yards and two touchdowns.

Grant is now Alabama's 18th commitment in the 2010 class.
