Carlos Delgado is no longer a starter. He cannot hit a baseball the way he used to, therefore he will either be traded, cut, or just benched.

    i disagree..delgado hit a homerun today and now has 5 on the season. i cannot imagine the pressure delgado must be getting from new york fans. he is slumping, sure. but he will turn around and therefore cannot be benched.

    I agree he cant hit anymore, but the Mets front office will not sit 16 million dollars worth of a baseball player. No matter how bad he plays, he will be the first basemen this year. Everyone needs to get off of this.
