A year ago today, Derek Fisher entered a Utah arena in the third quarter to lead Utah to a 120-117 win over the Warriors to lead the Jazz to the Western Confrence Finals. He showed up late because his daughter Tatum as Eye Cancer. After the year he got out of his contract to find a place close to doctors so he signed a three year deal with his old team the Lakers. What will happen once he is announced?

When he came back in a Lakers uniform he was booed by the entire Salt Lake City area, but why? Does the city have no heart? Do they not understand what is going on with his life? He put family first as he should have and he was hated for doing so!
This article isn't going to be like normal ones such as stats, past games, or also upcoming ones. What this article is about though is that how much character this man has and how everyone should learn from him by not what he does on the court, but what he does off the court and I believe every person should learn from him. The definition of character is that what do you do when no one is watching? Derek Fisher is one of the greatest players by not what he does on, but what he does off, and everyone should learn from his actions.

Here in Utah, we are under the impression that his daughter's doctors are located in New York. Last time I checked, Salt Lake City is closer to New York than L.A. Please let me know if I am mistaken.
