Virginia Tech Hokies Will Play Boise State In 2010

Justin CocchiolaCorrespondent IJuly 22, 2009

The Virginia Tech Hokies will play Boise State on Sept. 25, 2010 at FedEx Field, according to WTVR-6 in Richmond, VA.

Tech was originally scheduled to play at Syracuse on that date, and Syracuse would have traveled to Blacksburg in 2011.  Syracuse is now backing out of the deal, so the Hokies will likely try to fill that hole with a big name team for 2011.

The schedule change leaves the Hokies with seven home games and five games away from Lane Stadium in 2010.
