ROME - MAY 27: Lionel Messi of Barcelona lifts the trophy as he and his team mates celebrates winning the UEFA Champions League Final match between Barcelona and Manchester United at the Stadio Olimpico on May 27, 2009 in Rome, Italy. Barcelona won 2-0.

This is my personal World XI. It goes on ability, not form. I'm a die hard arsenal fan, I found it hard to find space for any players

Formation: 4-3-3
Two wingers and a striker make the front line

As ever, the mandatory must be said, these are just my opinions, don't shoot me if I didn't include the your favourite player.

Also please don't accuse me of being biased. There are no Arsenal players on the team. And for anyone who thinks the team is slightly EPL orientated, it is because it is the strongest league, (for now at least.)

As an extra, any Arsenal fans out there, should I order the new away kit or the new third kit? Do they ever were it? Leave comments regarding this question, and the slideshow as well.

Goalkeeper- Iker Casillas

BLOEMFONTEIN, SOUTH AFRICA - JUNE 25: Goalkeeper Iker Casillas of Spain answers questions during a Confederations Cup press conference the day after the European Champions stunning 2-0 loss against USA on June 25, 2009 in Bloemfontein, South Africa. (Ph

Arguably the best in the world ability wise, the only other keeper on par with him is Buffon. I admit that on form there are others more worthy of the spot, Cesar and Van Der Sar, but on ability you can't go wrong. He is agile, has lightning quick reflexes and is able to do the impossible. He is also a leader, not like John Terry who is passionate, he is calculated and leads by example.

Right Back- Maicon

This was a very tough choice, Dani Alves was very close, and Sergio Ramos and Phillip Lahm were contenders, and the outsider was Bakary Sagna of my beloved Arsenal. However Maicon won out over Alves as he is the better defender. Both can bomb forward, score goals and make assists, but as a defender Maicon provides more. Watching him is entertaining, just to see the samba style he plays with.

RCB- Nemanja Vidic

ROME - MAY 27: Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United heads the ball during the UEFA Champions League Final match between Barcelona and Manchester United at the Stadio Olimpico on May 27, 2009 in Rome, Italy. (Photo by Shaun Botterill/Getty Images)

This guy is a beast—like wow! Never gives up, always fights, doesn't know the meaning of pain, dominant in the tackle and in the air, very few are able to make it past him. Showed us he was human during his very rare poor display against Liverpool. As a whole, I just think that this guy makes strikers intimidated, and as an afterthought, he's a pretty amazing defender too, which helps.

LCB- John Terry

LONDON, ENGLAND - JUNE 10: John Terry of England celebrates after victory in the FIFA 2010 World Cup Group 6 Qualifying match between England and Andorra at Wembley Stadium on June 10, 2009 in London, England. (Photo by Mark Thompson/Getty Images)

This was a very tough choice. As you can see, I've left out Rio Ferdinand, who plays on the right of the two centre backs, I just prefer Vidic over him, even though Ferdinand is better on the ball. Others who deserve a mention are Giorgio Chiellini, Puyol and Nesta (his ability is undoubted.)
On to Terry, what can I say. Passion, desire, determination and ability. Leadership. This guy is an admirable character (coming from an arsenal fan). Although I'd lose all respect if he went to Man City looking for "new challenge." This guy has it all, and he's decent on the ball too, and chips in with a few goals from set pieces.

LB- Patrice Evra

Oh the pain. I desperately wanted to put Gael Clichy here, but, in order to be honest to myself, I had to put Evra here. Don't fret though, Clichy will undoubtedly be here in a couple years. The other contender was that Judas who's only interested in money, I've forgotten his name, something like "Cashley" Cole, whatever. As much as I dislike Cole, there is no question that he found his form again last season, but he just loses out to Evra. Patrice Evra, he's solid at the back, and very few can beat him in one on ones, he's one of the few who is just about able to deal with Messi. But it is not for his defending that I chose him, going forward, he is definitely better than Clichy, and just edges out Cole. He can whip in a cross like no-ones business, and is more often than not involved in United's attack.

Right Wing- Lionel Messi

It's close, but in my opinion he is the best player in the world. Yes, Ronaldo has more in his locker, the heading and free kicks, but ability wise, I don't think there is anyone who can match Messi, except for maybe the person on the next slide. Messi has phenomenal ball control, vision, technique, acceleration and dribbling skills. Surely he'll win the Ballon D'or this year.

CM- Andres Iniesta

YOKOHAMA, JAPAN - DECEMBER 17: Alexandre Pato of Sport Club Internacional and Iniesta of FC Barcelona battle for the ball during the final of the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006 between Sport Club Internacional and FC Barcelona at the International Stadium

Am I the only one who thinks he's one of the three best players in the world? I don't really care if I am though, he's just incredible. The movement, manipulation of the ball and his body, ball control, passing, vision and intelligence is something to behold. In the modern game, it seems that most choose power and pace, which is great, but Iniesta is the opposite, he's about touch and cleverness, and he never fails to amaze me.

CM- Steven Gerrard

The dynamo, the midfield powerhouse. Even though I dislike Liverpool fans for getting so far ahead of themselves (you came in second, and it was a trophyess season), there can be absolutely no doubting Gerrard's ability and influence on the team. He can do nearly everything on a football pitch. He drags Liverpool to a result when Torres isn't firing. He is also deceptively quick, and nearly everything he does works. But am I the only one who thinks he may go down a little softly? (Atletco Madrid anyone?) Another mention goes to Frank Lampard, and of course the man himself, Cesc Fabregas.

CM- Xavi

Did you think I forgot him? Don't be silly, how could I forget him. Everything about him oozes class, from the way he conducts himself on and of the pitch to the way he makes a 60 yard pass look like a little flick, this man is all about vision and technique. As I mentioned with Iniesta, he isn't very quick or strong, but he can maneuver himself around the pitch evading tackles. His passing is something which amazes, and when he passes a ball he reminds me of Paul Scholes, which despite what you may think about him, is a complement. Special mentions go to Michael Essien and Daniele De Rossi.

LW- Christiano Ronaldo

When he was at Man U, I hated him. Literally everything he did would annoy me. The "going down easily" all the way to the cockiness, everything about him was tacky. Then he flew of to Madrid and gave us a smile at his unveiling. And all of a sudden I liked him. Then I realized why. I hated him because he is a brilliant footballer. He can dribble, score, head, and of course shoot a free kick like no-ones business—ask Manuel Almunia. He's a footballer who thrives of the dislike of others. Yes he is a loss for the EPL, but I doubt I'll be missing him. But I'll cheer him on in Madrid, as he won't be harming my beloved gunners any more.

Striker- Didier Drogba

LONDON, ENGLAND - MAY 30: Didier Drogba of Chelsea is challenged by Joleon Lescott of Everton during the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Final match between Chelsea and Everton at Wembley Stadium on May 30, 2009 in London, England. (Photo by Shaun Botterill/Get

This is probably the hardest choice. Many will criticize me for this choice. Torres, Eto'o and Ibrahimovic could easily have fitted in here, but on his day Drogba is right up there. He really is a handful. He is strong (although his balance is a bit suspect), he can compete with anyone in the air and he can roast you along the ground in a foot race. As an Arsenal fan, whenever we come up against Chelsea I fear Drogba, almost as much as I fear the Boogeyman, but just a little less. Drogba is a monster, but his attitude suspect, and he isn't a great role model, but as a footballer he is brilliant.

Special Mentions

RUSTENBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - JUNE 28: Fernando Torres of Spain listens to his countries national anthom during the FIFA Confederations Cup 3rd Place Playoff match between Spain and South Africa at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on June 28, 2009 in Rustenburg,

Special mentions- I left out a lot of great footballers, but there's only XI spaces. Shout out to those below,

Buffon, Cesar

Alves, Ramos

Ferdinand, Chiellini

Clichy, Cole

De Rossi, FABREGAS, Essien, Lampard

Arshavin, Robben- he's actually pretty good, but let's be honest, the winger positions weren't really up for grabs were they?

Villa, Torres, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic, and Van Persie.

Sorry of I forgot anyone. Also special mention must go to my gunners past and present, specifically the great baldy Pascal Cygan and the one and only Oleg Luzzny.

Just my opinions, comment if you like, or don't whatever, if you're to cool to comment then don't but I would appreciate some feedback.
