Since Jerryd Bayless has an injury Javale McGee will replace him in The Team USA Minicamp. This camp is a tryout for the young players for the next Olympic team. This is exciting for me as a Wizards fan. Javale is going to be a special player in the league very soon. He is 7'1 with a 7'6 wingspan. His standing reach is 9'7 and he has a 34 inch vertical. So he only has to jump 5 inches to touch rim, and he gets 28 inches higher then that. People say he is to skinny but he has been working out a lot this summer and gotten stronger. Also i saw a comparison of him to a picture of Dwight Howard as a rookie, and Dwight turned out strong didn't he. In my opinion he has the potential to be a perennial all star. If anyone saw him during the Summer League then you will know what I am talking about. He got over 4 blocks in every game he played in and in the game against the Clippers he had 7, not to mention he posterized Blake Griffin.(look it up on Youtube). So anyways I hope Javale gets a lot of exposure from this and hopefully he will make the team. If anyone has seen him ,comment and tell me how you think his career will go.
