Humor, Editorial
The odds were stacked highly against Colin Cowherd. All his studio employees said he could not do it. The world did not believe that he could do it.ESPN online poll showed that Colin would get 15 pitches and had to put one in play.

Well the great Colin Cowherd only needed two pitches to put one into play. He proved all the ney-sayers wrong.

As host Trey Wingo put it, this is the greatest upset since the Patriots beat the Rams in Superbowl XXXVI! (now that we know they did not cheat)

Colin showed that practice really does pay off and if you set your mind on a goal and work at it, you can do anything. Remember that kids!

Watch out Barry Zito, Colin is coming up to bat!

See how Colin accomplished this magnificent feat, and watch as he limps across home plate he put the second pitch into play.

  1. Funny column, Paul. I used to dislike Cowherd (I think he replaced Kornheiser), but I have to admit that he's been pretty freakin' hilarious lately. I would just like to note that my 2 year-old daughter could probably hit Zito right now. I just wished I'd read this, like six days ago! Nice...
