Hello B/R. I am back from my short vacation and now it's time for me to get back to business. I attended the house show in Macon on July 17 and had a really good time. So without further ado, here's how it went down.

Match 1: Evan Bourne vs. THE Brian Kendrick

The first match of the night was scheduled for one fall and it pitted two young superstars that I've never seen fight each other in a match. I'm talking about Evan Bourne vs. THE Brian Kendrick.

The match started off with Kendrick getting massive heat from the crowd. There was even a guy who got himself ejected from the show.

I have no idea what he said to TBK or how TBK responded, but the guy tried to jump the railing which resulted in him getting removed from the show.

It's too bad too. He missed a great match.  TBK and Bourne of course, delivered with their fair share of high flying moves.

But believe it or not, most of the match was classic, old school mat wrestling. Hip tosses, head locks - that sort of thing. Bourne won the match but TBK made a great effort.

4 1/2 Stars

Why? Because it had great wrestling, TBK got massive heat, Bourne was so over and  everyone was so into it. Would have been a 5 star match but TBK took too long to actually get into the ring. He may have wasted 10 whole minutes arguing with the ref and people in the audience.

Match 2:  Primo vs Carlito

Primo made his way to the ring first to a fairly decent pop. He grabbed the mic and called out his brother for a fight.

Carlito came out to a very mediocre pop. I mean, it was almost sad to witness. You would think he'd be drawing more heat than TBK, but I guess not.

Anyway this match had some pretty good wrestling. It took the crowd a while to warm up to the match but by the end of it, Primo was getting a good pop. Primo won the match and got standing ovation. Good for him.

3 1/2 Stars

Because the crowd seemed bored for the better half of the match despite the good wrestling. Carlito's mediocre pop brings the rating down some too.

Match 3:  Maryse/Alicia Fox vs Mickie James/Gail Kim

One of my favorite matches of the night. And not because I want Maryse as a pet. Maryse got a ton of heat (could probably rival the heat Orton got later on) while Mickie easily had the biggest pop.

I thought this was one of the better Divas matches. Alicia Fox really surprised me. She did some power bombs (no lie), hip tosses and took a fair share of hits from Kim and Mickie James.

Maryse spent most of the match slapping Kim around and hiding behind Fox when up against Mickie but it only added to her heat. Fox got the pin for their team and the arena practically booed them out of there.

4 Stars

Fox actually wrestled a good match. They get a point boost because of Maryse's hotness and the Mickie mark who was so loud that Mickie actually hugged him after the match. Lucky bastard.

Match 4: Kofi Kingston vs Chavo Guerrero

Kofi got a good pop, but I think Chavo got more heat. Ahhh well...This was a really good match. I mean Chavo wrestled his best match in...well, never mind. Kofi took quite the pounding from Chavo and we even saw some old school Chavo moves. (Or maybe they were actually Eddie's moves).
