JaMarcus Russell Isn't Going Anywhere

Even though JaMarcus Russell is entering his third year in the NFL, he only turns 24 in August, younger than both Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco.

Russell is still a young guy, even though he is larger than most.

This is not a make-or-break year for Russell; he has too much talent just for the Oakland Raiders to release him and try to start over.

He is trying to take the steps to become a leader of the organization, even with Jeff Garcia hot on his heels.

So I think Al Davis will want to keep that big arm in Oakland for a while...

Unless we go 0-16.
