The Detroit Lions came out strong and held on to take down the New York Jets. The 24-17 victory elevates the Lions to 3-1.

To make matters even more interesting, the Lions were able to win on the road without Calvin Johnson. The stud wideout did play, but his ankle injury limited him to just 12 yards on two catches.

But a win is a win. Scroll down for highlights, analysis and the best Twitter has to offer.
