We all know that the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considered like a father to his players and that he likes to blood them at a young age with many getting the opportunity to impress in the Carling Cup.
But even he can not hold a candle to Julio Cesar Baldivieso (pictured), manager of Aurora in a Bolivia.
The Bolivian coach handed his son Mauricio Baldivieso his professional debut at 12 years old, making him the youngest ever person to play in a professional football match. He surpassed Peruvian Fernando Garcia, who debuted in 2001 at 13 years and 11 months as a Juan Aurich player.
The young zit-squeezer came on in the 38th minute of a Bolivian championship match. He was spared no pleasantries as a brutal introduction awaited, Baldivieso picked up an ankle knock within five minutes from a violent tackle by La Paz’s Henry Alaca.
Nonetheless the boy held back the tears and soldiered on as his team went down 1-0.
