MLB, Oakland Athletics, Game Recap

The Oakland Athletics culminated a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles in a Wednesday matinee, defeating the Orioles in 10, 6-5.

A walk-off solo home run was executed by second baseman, Mark Ellis. It was a nice finish for Ellis, who has had two rather prolonged slumps early in this campaign.  He has been dropped out of the half slot to battle in the seven spot.

Oakland now travels to Texas for a three-game series that begins Friday.

Texas has been a surprising challenge for Oakland, recently taking two of three in Oakland.

The A's do continue pace with the Angels. Both teams had a day off to travel Thursday, and maintain identical records of 22-14.
