Dwight Howard, the all-star center of the Orlando Magic, was named to the All-NBA First Team, the league announced today.

Howard is joined by the Lakers' Kobe Bryant, who was the only unanimous selection, the Hornets' Chris Paul, who finished second in the MVP race, the Cavaliers' forward LeBron James, and the Celtics' forward Kevin Garnett.

Howard led the NBA in rebounds this season, averaging 14.2, while averaging 20.7 points and 2.2 blocks per game.

Howard is this year's slam dunk champion, as well.

This is the first time the young all-star center has been awarded this honor.
