The recent switch of Dwayne Wade from Converse to Jordan gave me an idea. What if the shoe company teams had an actual basketball tournament who would win. I decided to only include the three main brands, Jordan, Nike and Adidas. There is one surprise team but it is just a joke.Everyone leave comments on what you think and tell me if you like the article because this is only my second article. Thanks!

Team Jordan

The problem with the Jordan Team is they have no big men at all. They have an amazing front court but that's it. They would play like the old Phoenix Suns but even more uptempo. There starting Five would look like this
PG - Chris Paul
SG - Dwayne Wade
SF - Carmelo Anthony
PF - Gerald Wallace
C - Joe Johnson
Then their bench has Rip Hamilton, Josh Howard, Ray Allen, Mike Bibby, Quentin Richardson, Michael Finley, and D.J. Augustin. If it was a night where all their shots were falling maybe they could win just by outrunning and outscoring the other team. Chances are they would get killed in the low post.

Team Adidas

In my opinion Adidas probably has the best all around team. The have a great starter at every position and a great backup team also.
PG- Rose/Billups/Harris
SG- Arenas/ Barbosa or Eric Gordon( the other would have to be a reserve)
SF- Turkoglu/McGrady/Josh Smith
PF- Garnett/Duncan/Jamison/Beasley
C- Howard/Duncan
Maybe you would switch the starting five but no matter how you look at it this team is loaded. No player would ever be tired. The team is Unstoppable on offense and on defense they have two of the most intimidating players in Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett.

Team Nike

If Nike had better defensive big man they would be the best team by far because they are so dominant at everything else. Also i know there are tons of great Nike athletes but i tried to pick the twelve best. If i missed any then sorry, but there were so many on their website(140) it was hard to only pick 12.
PG - Deron Williams/Steve Nash
SG - Kobe Bryant/Brandon Roy/Caron Butler
SF - Lebron James/Kevin Durant/Paul Pierce
PF- Amare Stoudemire/Shawn Marion/Dirk Nowitzki
C- Chris Bosh/Amare Stoudemire/Dirk Nowitzki
The team is a little shallow at big man but at the 1-3 they are amazing. Also their starting 5 is amazingly dominant.

Starbury

Obviously this is a joke but just imagine a team of 12 Stephon Marburys. It would be the most dysfunctional team ever and would be pretty funny to watch.

Final Prediction

I am Guessing that just like this years Finals, Kobe's team would be the one holding the trophy at the end. Obviously Team Jordan and Starbury would be eliminated first. Then it would be a close game between Adidas and Nike. I think Nike would win probably, but since Adidas's big men play great defense and offense it would be close. In the end though Kobe and Lebron would be to much to handle. But i am saying this about one game. If it was a seven game series i think Adidas would win. Big men, defense, and rebounding are what gives a team lasting power in a series. The Nike team would be like the old Suns. In the regular season the Suns would be able to beat a team because they were so surprisingly explosive on offense. But when they would meet a team like the Spurs in the postseason they figured them out. The Suns offense would get so over tired by going against a great defense every night and that's why they would lose. This is what i think would happen to the NIKE team in a 7 game series. Leave your comments and tell me who you think would win and how you liked the article, thanks.
