The LA Times is reporting that Lamar Odom has contacted Lakers Owner Jerry Buss in an attempt to mend their relationship. Sources say that Odom is trying to rebuild the bridge that may have been burned by his agent.

Odom had been recently offered a 5 year 35 million dollar offer from the Miami Heat. Some say the Lakers offered him as much as much as 36 million for 4 years. There have been reports that Odom was ready to sign the 3 year 30 million offer but his agent intervened and talks broke down. The Portland Trailblazers and Dallas Mavericks were also rumored to be interested in Lamar.

This could be great news for Laker fans. The loss of Odom would make the Laker bench very thin. The resigning of Lamar would greatly increase the Lakers chances of repeating as champions. Especially with the addition of Ron Artest.
