TAMPA, FL - FEBRUARY 01: Quarterback Kurt Warner #13 of the Arizona Cardinals fumbles the ball with :15 seconds to play as he is sacked by LaMarr Woodley #56 of the Pittsburgh Steelers during Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium

Well in 2008, the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl and surprised a lot of people. The Dolphins won the division after going 1-15 the year before. The Lions went 0-16, and Brett Favre was playing for the Jets.

A lot of things happened that people didn't expect, but that is the NFL and the parody that comes along with it. Already in the 2009 offseason there has been surprises, T.O. is a Buffalo Bill, Jay Cutler is a Chicago Bear, Brett Favre is all but wearing purple, and the Raiders are starting with the same head coach as they ended the season with.

So what surprises could happen in 2009? Lets put our "What if" thinking caps on...

Da Bears!

The talk of the offseason is Brett Favre and the Vikings. We almost forgot that Jay Cutler is in a Bears uniform now.

The focus will be on the Vikings and Packers, but watch for the Bears to come out of the NFC North as division champs.

Raiders or Chiefs

One of these teams will win the AFC West. The Chargers are known for slow starts and not getting it together until the end of the season, but when two of your last four games are at Dallas and Tennessee, you can't expect to do much in the end.

Watch for the Raiders defense and running game and the Chiefs offense to keep them in the race for the division title, and watch for one of them to sneak away with it.

Titans Miss Playoffs

With the emergence of the Texans and the Jaguars being healthy, watch for the Titans success to come down from last year.

A 9-7 record will not be enough to make it to the playoffs unless you play in the AFC West.

Cowboys Miss the Playoffs

A wise man once said he didn't want a celebrity QB. Well the Cowboys have one, and a whole decade will go by without the Cowboys winning a playoff game.

The NFC East is too strong, and the Cowboys do not have what it takes to compete with the Eagles or Giants.

Chargers Miss the Playoffs

Time for a new coach, and I think BIll Cowher would make the most sense. For the second year in a row, the Chargers have underachieved during the season and started slow.

This year it will hurt the team because of their strength of schedule.

No QB from the NFC East Will Make the Pro Bowl

LOS ANGELES, CA - JULY 15: NFL player Matt Ryan poses in the press room during the 2009 ESPY Awards held at Nokia Theatre LA Live on July 15, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The 17th annual ESPYs will air on Sunday, July 19 at 9PM ET on ESPN. (Photo b

Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler, and Drew Brees will all be in the Pro Bowl in 2009.

A.P. Will Not Lead His Division in Rushing

Forte from the Bears and Turner from the Falcons will lead the league in rushing this year.

Chris Johnson Will Lead the League in INT's

DENVER - NOVEMBER 23: Wide receiver Brandon Marshall #15 of the Denver Broncos is unable to make a reception as Chris Johnson #37 of the Oakland Raiders defends during week 12 NFL action at Invesco Field at Mile High on November 23, 2008 in Denver, Color

Being opposite of Nnamdi Asomugha only means you will have the ball thrown to your side over 75 percent of the time. Watch for Chris Johnson to lead the league in INT's

Mcdaniels Makes It Through the First Year with the Broncos

2-14 for the Broncos this season will be a big drop for them, but Pat Bowlen won't admit to his mistake just yet.

Raiders Do Not Lose 10 Games

Despite the horrible decade for the Raiders, they still managed to win more playoff games than anyone else in their division.

They will not lose 10 games in 2009 which will be a pleasant surprise for the Raider Nation and a big surprise for the rest of the nation.
