Harrell Headed To Canada

It is no secret that I love Graham Harrell, Mike Leach and the football explosion that is Texas Tech.

I wrote earlier this summer about Graham Harrell's inability to find a job in the NFL, even after the amazing season that Tech had last year.

Even after Harrell was originally in contention for the Heisman, and then slighted and told to go home.

Even after being the Division I career touchdown leader.

And even after Michael Crabtree, Harrell's number one receiver, went tenth in the draft.

Harrell worked out with the Cleveland Browns, but no contract was reached.

Now, Harrell is heading to the CFL after signing with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Thursday.

Hopefully we see a progression similar to Doug Flutie, Kurt Warner and the other greats who have played in the CFL before becoming NFL legends.

Harrell has got what it takes. I think I am the only one who believes in him.

Mark my words, we will be seeing Graham Harrell in the NFL very soon.

But for now, where my roughriders at? Mount-up!
