If the picture does not scare you, then you have no pulse. What does that mean? That's easy: Kimbo Slice is the baddest man on or around the planet.
I had never even heard of Kimbo Slice before I overheard a friend talking about a "bearded crazy man" on Youtube. I asked who this bearded man was, and looked him up online. Wow. . . I expected to see sanctioned MMA fights, but I was in for a treat. There are a couple of sanctioned fights; however, most of Kimbo's videos are backyard street brawls.
Please search for Kimbo Slice on Youtube. You will not be let down. He is a trash-talking, insanely intense man, who uses his concrete fists and compact punches to knock people that are twice his size out cold.
Not only does Kimbo knock people out cold; he also smashes faces in. You would have to be crazy to say the wrong thing to Kimbo Slice, let alone get in the ring.
Here is a scary thought: Imagine you are asleep and hear someone break into your home. I am not implying that Kimbo Slice is a criminal, but imagine walking downstairs and realizing you were being robbed by him. Your reaction: you poop your pants--that's your reaction. Kimbo Slice is a scary man: I can't wait to see him in more MMA fights on TV.
In conclusion, Kimbo Slice is a bad man. No, Kimbo slice is the baddest man on the planet in my opinion. Please do yourself a favor and Youtube Kimbo slice if you have not seen him in action.
You will be amazed, and you might not sleep that night.

He might intimidate ordinary guys like myself if we ran into him in a dark alley but i don't think he intimidates any legitimate MMA fighters.
I think the real intimidation factor lies with your ability and your fighting resume and not your actual physical appearance, demeanor, or whatever your ramble out of your mouth.
The baddest men on the planet are the most dangerous, the most skilled, and includes guys like fedor, a silva, st pierre, rampage, nogueira, henderson, franklin, penn, etc...

Yeah I definitely buy that Kimbo has not proven himself, and a lot of other fighters have. But I still think he can challenge some UFC champs. Once he gets some fights against proven fighters, we will know what kind of skills Kimbo has.

Kimbo is without a doubt the pound-for-pound most indimitating looking guy in MMA...but please for the sake of legitimacy you cannot call Kimbo "the baddest man on the planet", he is unproven, and while he hold some great ability i doubt he can become a top 10 heavyweights. I realize from reading you article that your new to mma (the title UFC's Kimbo gave it away), and its good that you have some interest in the sport. but please educate yourself on the sport before you make such redicious claims, its disrespectful to the great fighters who have worked their entire lives to become champions and earned the right to hold the title "baddest man on the planet".

I don't think you saw that this article was tagged as "humor" considering the tone of your comment. That was quite the amateur article. First off your title is all wrong as Kimbo isn't and never has been in the UFC. He's an internet craze. There is no doubt that the guy is tough as nails and can fight. But I mean so can a million other guys.
The purity of the sport of MMA is that it takes not just the ability to fight to be not just good but great at it, but it also takes years of dicipline. Look at the Gracies and the various Silvas. These guys have trained in BJJ and Muai Thai their whoel lives to be able to compete in this sport. Somebody like kimba whom I don't deny looks like a bad mf wouldn't last one round with an Anderson Silva or Fedor.
True the heavy weight divisions have more guys that rely on strength and size for their fights but that doesn't mean they will win. If you want to see a classic example watch the Tim Silvia vs. Randy Couture fight. Randy much smaller and older beat the younger, larger Silvia and made him look like a chump. Guys like Couture that have experiance and skill will take kimbo to the mat everytime and tear him apart. It doesn't matter if the guy looks like he's the baddest mofo because appearance just sells T-Shirts. Look at St. Pierre, he's clean cut and baby faced but he's probably pound for pound one of the toughest fighters in teh world.

Once again, I know this, and did not put that in my title; it was edited in by some girl trying to increase traffic. Please read the previous comments before you post. Yes, Kimbo looks like a bad man and is a tough street fighter. Those are the facts I state in my article. At no point do I claim that Anderson Silva or Randy Couture would lose to Kimbo. . . I said, "I can't wait to see him in more MMA fights on TV." I respect the best UFC fighters, I am not sure why people are putting words in my mouth.

Sorry I was writing as you posted your follow up so i didn't see it until I had already posted. The only reason I went on is that you claimed Kimbo is the baddest man on the planet in your opinion. I respect your opinion but it seemed as though you hadn't yet had a broad of a spectrum.
Kimbo has been around on You tube for awhile now and when you're saying that you just heard about him from a friend then i'm thinking that you haven't seen all that you could see. So i was trying to name drop because you could go out and see those guys fight then form your opinion. I never said that you stated that RC or AS would lose I was just stating my opinion that Kimbo has a long way to come before he can go toe to toe with the elite fighters of the world for Baddest Dude designation.

i apologize for coming off as too strong, i admit i didnt see this tagged as humor, and thought it was a legit article on kimbo. i just want people to realize kimbo is not all hes crack up to be. Many hardcore fan, myself included, are angered that kimbo is being promoted as the biggest star in mma. i believe that some of the fault here may be with the UFC by not promoting someone to take Liddells mantel as the Face of MMA.
At this point i believe that the UFC should heavily promoting GSP as the new face of MMA. In my opinion, he can become the Oscar De La Hoya of MMA, he's very marketable, good looking, exceptionally skilled, has a great accent, and is a young guy with several years left in the sport. Its only a matter of time before he is one of Canadas biggest stars.

In mixed martial arts he is unproven. I doubt any martial artist will challenge him to a street fight though. He has the best of both worlds. A street fighting background and he has trained with Bas Rutten for two years now.

Kimbo hasn't had one notable fight in his history of MMA bouts or street brawls. He may be big and strong and scary looking but he wouldn't last a minute in the ring/octagon with heavyweight tops like Fedor, Couture, or Crocop. I think Brock Lesnar shows more promise for MMA than Kimbo, he's just as big and strong, much more athletic and in better shape, and looks like he could have a good shot at picking up MMA skills quickly.
Kimbo's street fights are entertaining to watch, but don't put him in the same category as the greats in this sport. He hasn't earned that honor and in all likeliness never will.
