On Wednesday, after the transfer window has formally closed, the Premier League publishes official squad lists

And it has a tendency of unearthing a curious nugget of information or two.

How about Davide Petrucci being in Manchester United's squad of 25? The midfielder is now 23 and has been at Old Trafford since 2008, but has yet to make a senior league appearance for the team.

Our favourite this year has to be the confirmation that Chelsea's teenage defender Kurt Zouma has a middle name of "Happy."

It's not exactly brand-new information (it has been his middle name his whole life, of course), but there's nothing like the Premier League's squad lists to flag these middle names up.

Zouma, born in France and capped at U21 level for his country, has of course been something of an under-the-radar signing for the Blues—he joined in January but was loaned back to St-Etienne until the summer.

The teenager is highly rated, however, so could well break his way into the first team in the months and years to come.

Kurt Zouma's middle name is Happy, as confirmed by the official Premier League squad lists.
